Karafuru (2020)

In a world filled with gloomy news, the Earth has lost its vibrancy. To restore its brightness and color through the power of laughter, nine elite comedy duos from Osaka stand up to the challenge! To deliver "laugh energy" to the Goddess Non, who watches over the Earth, and her supports from the global boy group JO1 (Ruki Shiroiwa and Junki Kono), the comedians tackle various comedy challenges and improvised games. The duo that generates the most laughter energy will win their own special program in the final episode. Each episode also features full-length, unfiltered stand-up routines by the comedians. A refreshing variety show where laughter saves the world.
