Giger, ur. w Chur w Gryzonii, Szwajcaria, 5 lutego 1940 r. w rodzinie Hansa Richarda i Melly Gigerów – szwajcarski malarz, znany ze stworzenia postaci ksenomorfa do filmu Obcy - ósmy pasażer Nostromo. Zmarł 12 maja 2014 w wyniku obrażeń doznanych po upadku ze schodów.
