Mściciel z południa (1954)
Były policjant Vic Barron trafia w zasadzkę gangsterów: jego żona i dziecko giną, a on sam zostaje oszpecony, wrobiony i trafia do więzienia. Po wyjściu na wolność jedynym celem Vica jest zemsta na ukrywającym się bossie o nazwisku Tino Morelli. Trop prowadzi go do mroźnego, odizolowanego miasteczka Ketchikan na Alasce, gdzie spotyka m.in. właścicielkę tawerny Peggy Harding.
