Laxmi Bardewa

Laxmi Bardewa is a Nepalese actress, writer, and theater artist known for her expressive, grounded performances across mainstream and independent Nepali cinema. After honing her craft over a decade in theater, including four influential years with Kathmandu’s Mandala Theatre, she transitioned to film with her debut in Ghaampaani(2017). She quickly established herself as a prominent screen talent through acclaimed roles in movies such as Bulbul(2019), Kagaz Patra(2019), Selfie King(2020), and Abhimanyu: Chapter 1(2025), Shakti(2025), and many more. Beyond her feature film work, Bardewa holds a degree in Journalism and Political Science and actively collaborates with her husband, actor-director Jiban Bhattarai, on music videos, theater productions, and creative projects.
