New - What should I watch? — Can't decide? Pick films or series, your mood, a genre and how long you've got, and we'll suggest one title. Not feeling it? Roll again — or share your pick with friends. - Popular lists — Discover the most loved lists made by other viewers, also right on the home page. - "Movies like…" pages — Loved a film or series? Find dozens of similar titles in one place, e.g. movies like Interstellar. Every title page links to its own. - Franchises in watch order — Every film of your favourite franchise, in the right order, with upcoming parts marked. Browse the most popular franchises or search for any of them. - Where to watch — See which official services stream, rent or sell a title in your country, on every title page (e.g. Interstellar). - Release calendar — New films and series episodes for this week, next week and this month, day by day. - 8 new themes — Blocky, Zombie, Comic Hero, Dark City, Mystery Van, Biohazard, Retro and Disco 80s, each with its own colours and font. - Pixel trail — An optional pixel trail that follows your mouse. Turn it on in Settings → Preferences. - New home page background — An animated pixel trail in your theme colour.

Improved - Player bar — Always visible above the video, and fits nicely on every screen size. - Watch Together — Changing the server now switches it for everyone in the room. - Faster pages overall.

New - Watch Together — Press “Watch together” above any player, send the link, and watch with friends: everyone follows the same title and episode, with a chat and a shared 3-2-1 countdown. - Your own lists — Group films and series into lists and keep them private, share them by link or make them public.

October 5, 2026

New - 6 new languages — Français, Italiano, Polski, Čeština, 한국어 and 中文. Nocturne now speaks 11 languages, blog included. - Contact page — Send us a question, a bug report or a copyright request.

Improved - The blog loads much faster.

October 1–4, 2026

New - Browse films and series by year and by streaming service. - Halloween picks and new blog articles. - More servers, including original-audio (English) servers.

Fixed - Blog articles no longer open scrolled to the bottom.

2026-09-29

Added - Your language comes first: when the site is in a language that has its own servers, the player searches for them and starts on one automatically. - Those servers are listed first in the Server menu. - If they're still loading, the player waits a few seconds; press "Start now on another server" to skip the wait. - Help under the player: a short guide on what to do if a video won't load, and how to get another audio language, with a "Change server" button.

Improved - If a server in your language stops working, the player moves on to the next server in the same language first. - Servers that finish loading late no longer restart a video that's already playing.

Added - Nocturne in 5 languages: English, Russian, Turkish, Spanish and Ukrainian. - Each language has its own address: /ru, /tr, /es, /uk. English stays at the original URLs. - The whole interface is translated. - Film and series titles, descriptions and genres appear in the chosen language. - The language menu in the header switches to the same page in the other language. - Nocturne remembers your language, and opens in your browser's language on your first visit. - Esc to go back: on the watch page, press Esc to return to the previous page.

Improved - RU servers: Title matches the film or series, so unrelated videos no longer appear.

Added - RU servers in the player: Russian-dubbed versions and VK Video, found by title servers are listed under "RU servers". - Russian version of the site. - Ad-free tip: a uBlock Origin recommendation in the player toolbar and server menu.

Improved - Server picker is now a compact dropdown that works better on mobile. - The selected server is saved in the URL, so a shared link opens on the same server. - Home page search is saved in the URL (/?q=), so searches can be shared and bookmarked.

Added - Rotating hero headlines: a different headline every time the home page opens. - Animated hero backgrounds: Galaxy, Pixel Snow and AeroShards. One is picked at random, and its colours follow your theme. - Retro headline font (Press Start 2P). - Avatar library: pick an avatar from 6 styles (People, Sketch, Cartoon, Peeps, Robots, Pixel) or use your initial. - "Watched" button on every film, series and episode.
