Tom Payne
Thomas "Tom" Payne (nato il 21 dicembre 1982 a Chelmsford, Essex) è un attore britannico. È noto per il ruolo di Paul "Jesus" Rovia nella serie televisiva The Walking Dead. Attualmente può essere visto nel ruolo di Malcolm Bright nella serie Prodigal Son. Payne è cresciuto a Bath, Somerset, nell'Inghilterra occidentale. Si è formato alla Central School of Speech and Drama di Londra, laureandosi con un Bachelor of Arts nel 2005.[1] Durante la sua formazione, ha fatto le sue prime esperienze in opere come Class Enemy, The Balcony, The Rivals, Three Sisters, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III, e The Man Who Had All the Luck.[1] Dopo la laurea, ha ottenuto il suo primo ruolo da protagonista nella produzione londinese del West End di Journey's End.[1] È apparso accanto a Imogen Stubbs nella produzione di Maria Aberg di Shrieks of Laughter al Soho Theatre.[1] Dopo i suoi primi ruoli televisivi in serie come Skins - Hautnah e Casualty, ha ottenuto il ruolo di Brett Aspinall in due stagioni della serie Waterloo Road nel 2007. Nel 2008, ha fatto il suo debutto cinematografico accanto a Frances McDormand e Amy Adams in Il grande giorno di Miss Pettigrew. Dal 2011 al 2012, è apparso nella serie televisiva Luck nel ruolo di Leon Micheaux.[2] Nel 2013, Payne ha ottenuto il suo primo ruolo da protagonista in The Medicus, l'adattamento cinematografico dell'omonimo romanzo di Noah Gordon. Anche suo fratello Will Payne è un attore.
